hi i have just been givern a ex470 as my friend has built a larger system
but it seems to be finnicky so i wonted to do a factory restore but it wont have it i followed everything online i can and it turns out he has wiped the onbard flash dose any one have or know were i could get these files or the ghoust image of them pls
 
Yeah if You got it with no HDDs in it, then you will need to do a factory restore, which needs to be done on a 32bit OS, btw. Good luck, I use VMware on XP and reset my EX470.
 
lol no hard drive or the onboard flash boot had to make the usb boot pen for the ex490 and just stick to the ex470 files found the smi files at the bottom on the pdf file thank god all up and running now prefer the hp stuff to just standerd whs
 
i also found out by accident when testing the usb pen it tried to intall on my pc and not the ex470 lol
 
dose any one have the ex470 recovery disk i am haveing problems with the autorun.inf file in the Home Server Connector Software folder here is a link to the thread i made in genral software http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1588791
if you could compare it and let me know whats wrong i would be very gratefull ty
 
I Have an ISO of it. I'm not much for disks anymore...

never mind found the problem the autoplay on my pc is not working tried on another pc works perfect stupid bloody thing lol
