Anyone have experience with this board from EVGA? I'm debating between it and the ASUS Z97-PRO. I've had great luck with EVGA and their customer service. I'm actually still running my old EVGA 780i and love that board.

Customer service has always been good for evga. However as of late their BIOS and the ensuing updates have been lackluster. Quality control is anecdotally not as good.

That's why I stopped buying EVGA (boards anyways) after z68 because it took them months to get Ivy support for that. They have improved there lineup from the past though and yes EVGA service is still awesome.

OP take a look at this list to compare some components on the z97 lineup.

Personally the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 would get my money if I didn't have to choose a mATX z97 board.

At $145 or so it's hard to beat this board with it's price and what it offers. I like EVGA but I'm not sure if the FTW is worth $50 more over this considering the gigabyte has 8 digital phases while the EVGA has 6. Either phase amount is overkill for Haswell but EVGA has always charged more for there boards sadly.
