eVGA setup program, how long will they have my card?

Ok, Got a pair of eVGA 7800GT PCIe off New-Egg. I read somewhere about the "STEP-UP" program. But if I do this how long will they have my cards? 6-8 weeks or are they fairly fast shipping them out?

This looks cool because they offer one with a better heat sink on it and if I can keep from having to void a warranty by installing something like and Artic Cooler. That's a plus.

They say 3 days on the forums. They got my old card Friday morning and I still haven't heard anything from them about shipping the new one. Hopfully I'll hear from them tommarow.


Also, you can use non-stock heatsinks on evga cards without voiding the warranty. The only way you void it is if you cause physical damage to the card .

isnt the nonstock heatsink the upgraded one they sell on there website?

they ship them to you based on the shipping you select. I have done the step up on numerous occasions and every time they held the card and got it out in 3 days or less. (not counting shipping times)

By best turnaround was 10 days total.
