Tracking says out for delivery , I hoped to get it this morning, I am going nuts with anticipation. Did you get yours yet?

hahaha I forgot they won't deliver it without a signature, so I have to drive 45 minutes again tonight once my g/f goes to work because my car is in the shop :-P. So not only do not have it as soon as I get home, but I have to wait until about 8 or 8:30 to play with it!!!!! GAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Oh well at least I am getting it right?!? :D

Well Mine showed at 7pm, and the guy was wicked hung over. He tried to hand my wife a Dell computer system instead of my card. She called me immediatelyand i told her to tell the fucker to hand over the card and shove the Dell where the sun dont shine. She did not but politely pointed out to the guy that she was expecting my video card and not a Dell.

He responded with oh shit sorry and ran back to his truck and retrieved this baby.

The Ulrtra rocks. It runs as good as my Gt but 6 c cooler and temps dont rise under load like with the GT . The beefier cooler I suspect I will oc her after a couple of days of Doom

I just used the step up program today.
I had a 6800 GT and just sent it back in exchange for an 6800 Ultra :D
The GT did 420 / 1150 on air.
I got my DangerDen 6800 water block this week, so I'll be pumping some extra Hz through the new card soon :)
The video card has a dedicated 120mm extreme radiator, 6800 DD video block and a L35 300+ GPH pump.

I am glad I read this post. I had an 5700U in the closet and got my 6800GT for 150.00 Including shipping.

Long Live E-VGA!!!!!!!!!

It Lives!!!!!!

I popped her in last night. At first there was alot of racket from the fan then I realized i had bent the shroud. It was easiliy reppaired and now she purrs like a kitten and cuts through Doom like butter. Tonight I will OC and start tweaking fror Dooom. I ran 1600x 1200 last night no issues. the heat affects are awesome

Dude, A little off topic but how do you like that stacker?

Well I suppose that is a nice and easy way to upgrade but I remember that once when I tried to RMA a card they wanted me to pay some service fee in addition to shipping...

Personally I would get a new card however I could, then eBay the the old one. Not as elegant I suppose but possibly cheaper (I think). I assume they want you to pay the difference betweek the MSRP of the new card and only give you a fraction of MSRP credit?

Well regardless Im waiting to see how those 6600s perform - I and too cheap of a bastard to pay for these shiny new 6800s =)

My eVGA 6800GT arrived DOA, so I'm going to return it because I already ordered a new one off newegg. I know that way I'll get it faster than having to deal with eVGA's replacement policy.

Lot's of room, I purchased a second 4 in 3 device module and the windowed panel is on the way :)
From top 12x DVD burner, Green Res, 4 in 3 with 120mm fan, Blue res, 4 in 3 with 120 mm fan, blank ,blank, blank, console (power, reset, USB etc)

The dual L35 pumps will sit between the drive supports side by side.
I read a review where the author complained about the difficulty gettin the bezel off.
Well it's not made really to come off. It's held by 10 screws in a tight space. There is no need to take it off. The console is removeable :)

I'm putting the dual 120mm extreme in the floor of the case with a little modding. The grill in the bottom has a small lip that won't let the radiator sit flush.

I'll end up having 5 120mm fans in the case and the 80mm in the top.
She's really going to be nice when done

Yeah, there was a Canuck a while back that posted he ordered from eVGA...I can't remember exactly but I think it was somewhere around 40-$50 usd? He said it was still cheaper than buying locally though.

It's probably the same. I just ordered from bigfoot and my total with shipping and tax is $638 CAD. The order ncix.com screwed up was $640 before I cancelled it.

As for buying from eVGA, $399 + $15shipping + $50duty + $30 tax = $494 USD
(i'm guessing 7% for tax)

That makes $647 CAD.

It's no argument that duty fees are bullshit though. I'm sure Canadian retailers have to obey the same laws when they order their stock from the US. That's obviously why its so expensive here. You should see what happens to Canadians when we go visit friends in Albany for the day or whatever, and do the honest thing on the way back and declare that bottle of wine. You either pay 100% duty fee or they confiscate it, I shit you not. As if our socialist-high taxes aren't enough, our government robs it's own citizens at the border =(
