Is there any difference between these cards aside from clocks? I think they use the same coolers? Are there faster memory chips on the superclocked? I read that the 320mb superclocked uses 1.1ns. Or are you just paying for a card thats clocked faster by default?

AFAIK they are the same just with different clock speeds, there is the AC3 (think thats its name) version which has a longer cooler and looks different.

So is it safe to say you could just flash a vanilla 8800gts with a superclocked bios?

Is there a program that overclocks the shader? Most of them only do the core and memory.

Depends on how they are binned. If, and im guessing, they hand pick vannilla which can handle the oc and brand them as superclock. those that cant oc, they leave as vannilla. meaning, your not likely to be able to oc either. those that can handle the oc, you might be able to crank up still further. thats not to say you cant oc the vannilla with some aftermarket cooling and get away with it. but at that point you are close to, if not over, the upgrade cost.

the other thing i noticed, and this may just be a board revision, is that superclocked has a green PCB, vannilla and ACS3 are black.

Here are the real available core clocks and the corresponding shader clocks according to rivatuner:

Core:Shader
513:1188
540:1242
567:1296
576:1350
594:1350
612:1404
621:1458
648:1512
675:1566

Here are the real memory clocks available:
792mhz
810mhz
828mhz
837mhz
864mhz
891mhz
900mhz

I downloaded a superclocked bios, and strangely, the core speed in NiBiTor says 567 (i thought it was supposed to be 576?), but the shader clock is listed as 1350? This doesn't seem to jive with my above testing?
