for those people who pre-ordered those 6800Gt from evga I wanted to know if they got shipped, because I pre-ordered mine and it's suppost to ship on the 10th? and now on their webpage it's just listed as backorder. thanks
 
I ordered one from evga the other day as well and it's supposed to ship on the 10th. I think we're okay though. I'm assuming they've taken all the preorders they can handle for the 10th and will soon open up yet another round of pre-orders to ship at a later date. At least that's what they did before.
 
I've heard good things about the evga.com preorder - from what people have been saying on these forums, eVGA is good to their word as far as shipping date. In fact, I've heard that they shipped the previous pre-order EARLY and a lot of people got their cards BY the pre-order shipping date. I've also read that they don't charge your CC until they are actually going to ship the card - guess that's good news for me since I pre-ordered the ultra a few days ago and was just charged today.

They were right.. it did ship on 8/2.. i trust evga
 
mine did to, great company. I called and made sure i got in on the 1st wave did. Lol. these cards r selling like hotcakes.
 
yup i got mine shipped too on the 2nd, waiting for it to arrive this thursday

mine arrives tomorrow yippie! sucks it takes 2 days to ship ground from LA, its only like 230 miles away, hard to believe it takes 2 days, but oh well.
 
yeah, that's good to hear because the reason I ordered from egva is because of all the good things I have been hearing about evga. also, it's so crazy how fast theses cards are selling, I mean I have followed a lot of video card launches and I have never seen demand so high for highend cards like this before. :D

same here--got mine today.
 
I ordered mine early last Thursday and it'll be here tomorrow. I got the two day shipping.
 
I ordered mine with the 8/2 batch and it did ship on the 2nd..BUT it wont get here till monday becuase i was dumb and did the ground thing thinking that they were out of VA.

Ah well. Make sure you pick the right shipping kids!
