I haven't found a lot of information, but EVGA showed off a mini-itx case at CES 2013. It can take a 240mm radiator and has space above the CPU for large air coolers.

The major problem with that design is it needs an ITX motherboard with the CPU socket away from the PCIe slot, since they have the PSU there. EVGA's Z77 ITX is a POS until they actually get people who know how to write a bios. Sure there is the one Asus board w/ the daughter board for the vregs you could use to.

And also the PSU probably sounds like a jet engine either full time, or at a certain temp/load. It is a nice looking case though.

not a big problem if you use the water cooling version.

But yeah, 1U psu will be loud

I do like more ITX choices on the market, but this one has too many parts limitations.

Even with watercooling, the PSU would be right in the spot of the majority of CPU sockets of ITX boards. At least that's what it looks like in the pictures to me.

Could be neat depending on that PSU.. Kind of a pisspoor placement of it in the middle of everything, but it has potential.. I dont like the propitiatory PSU at all though.

i like the case but not where the powersupply is located nor the type of powersuplly used.

This case makes my mouth water, despite just having made a SG05 build!

Looks like a SFX psu would fit nicely where the rear fan is (in a similar way to the PC-Q02) and still provide enough space for water block.
Interesting how the rad and pump on the water cooled version will perform, 240mm should be enough for a lower TDP i5 and a 770/(780??) GTX.

Any guess on whether the case would fit any of their Hydro Copper versions?

Youve replied to a thread in which the last post is exactly one year old...

The case in the OP was a prototype for what eventually became the Hadron, which has a somewhat different layout and look. There are two versions - the Hadron Air and Hadron Hydro, the latter of which has been enlarged to accommodate a 240 rad at the top.

Fail on 1st post. How the hell did this case end up in my news feed!

Anyways, prototype looked better.

=D
