I have the following system:
GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor
OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel
EVGA 01G-P3-1280-TR GeForce GTX 280 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16
My power supply is the following:
COOLMAX "EZ Wire" CU-600T 600W ATX Modular Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159049
My problem is I need an 8 pin and a 6 pin PCIe power plug but only have one 6 pin from my power supply. I do have the 2 6 pin to 1 8 pin adapter as well as the 2 4 pin molex to 1 6 pin adapter. I am left needing one more 6 pin to power the 8 pin adapter. Should I just pick up another molex to 6 pin adapter and run that or just get a whole new power supply?
