EVGA's GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked is sitting at a great price right now on Amazon. Not sure how long this will last, so act quick! Been watching for this card to finally drop to $300, and now that it has, I'm broke! ... figures.

List Price: $419.99
Price: $319.99
Post-purchase rebate: $20.00
Price after rebate: $299.99

Great price, but now I'm starting to consider that even the 280 or 280X is a better deal for less or around the same. I guess if you wanted to SLI this could be a great deal.

2GB should be enough for gaming on a single 1080p monitor though right?

Not for all games anymore. No way I would pay 300 bucks for a 2gb card at this point. We already have at least 3 games right now where 2gb of vram is a limitation at settings a 770 could otherwise handle. Those are Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs and Daylight.

The oced PNY 4gb 770 was on sale for 310 bucks shipped just a few days ago so this deal is not really hot for just a 2gb card.

wolfenstein doesn't count because there's no difference between vt compress off/on and turning it off is the only way to get the vram usage over ~1400-1700 MB. i know it doesn't matter, but i want to point out that the amount of vram watch dogs and daylight use, especially daylight, makes absolutely no sense.

if your budget is around $300, at this point it'd be stupid to buy anything other than a 290X off of ebay.

Go figure that an EVGA branded GTX 770 dips below $300 (albeit just barely) shortly after I bought a GTX 770 card from another brand. That said, I'm happy w/ my Asus, which runs very cool.
