I just picked one of these up will be here on Wednesday I wish I could buy one locally but even Best Buy doesn't have them. I guess it has a green led light should be intrestering I have a EVGA G3 currently I know the higher watt model got a bad review on Toms Hardware. Johnny Guru's site seems to be in a lull nothing is reviewed recently but the reviews are good for the EVGA G5 from users but only time will tell.

Time for a modest upgrade. Last I upgraded my PC was about 6+ yrs, so ...
One thing I do not want to skimp on is the PSU. But a good/great value is cool.
A buddy just bought the EVGA 850 G+ /shrug
I have been looking at this one as well as seasonic and corsair. 850w for me

I have been away for a bit. I am familiar with most of the names (Corsair, Thermaltake, EVGA etc)
Looking for good/great customer service. Not sure that exists anymore. HA

I got the power supply two days ago but decided to not put in my working system the only difference I noticed the cables have resistors wrapped around each cable.
There is a green Led light on the back side but you can hardly notice it. The power supply checker I used showed everything was in working order.
But if you have all your cables tied up on the back panel you know it's a fun pain to replace everything with a new PSU.
