eVGA FX5700 Ultra problem...

defective card or overheating, make sure the fan is spinning and the heatsink is on good.
I highly suggest you rma the card if its not a cooling problem, evga had really good rma policies i hear.
 
Thanks for replies. I highly doubt it's overheating. Maybe it's something in the BIOS. I'll try. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I put the card into a different system and now it seems to work fine. So the card is OK. Something is wrong either in BIOS settings, or the whole windows installation.
