This is just asking for opinions and your point of view.

Is the EAR program worth the cost given that I do have a backup video card incase the vid card flops?
 
Yes it's worth it. You don't send your card until the replacement arrives with the included RMA UPS label in the box.

P.S. upload a copy of your invoice prior to starting a RMA request.
 
Already knew all that :p. My main issue is the $15 ish really worth the faster rma process ;)
 
I've used it, since I fold 24/7 and running 280s overclocked 24/7 has a way of accelerating years of worth from the cards. ;)
 
Yes, it's worth it. I buy it for all my products. I paid 19.99 for overnight saturday delivery. EAR prices are 50% less. I get a prepaid shipping label to send my old product back and everything is cross shipped. You have to accept the EAR when you register because you can't do it at a later time.
