not sure how [H]ot it is, but I just grabbed an EVGA e758-A1 from tigerdirect/circuitcity for $222. $279.99 minus $30.00 rebate through EVGA + 10% bcb + free ship = $221.99

rebate details are here: http://static.tigerdirect.com/rebates/EGA-7286.pdf hopefully they're good at honoring them.

NOTE: rebate only valid on purchases made today it seems. Still, total ~$60 off the newegg price isn't bad if you're in the market.

Seems as though rebates come and go, just wait a week or two. I don't see how they keep rebates straight sometimes.

You can actually get it a little cheaper by searching "motherboard" (12.3% Bing via Tiger = $215.57). This deals been around for awhile and is possible to get with 15% from Tiger, assuming you have the patience.

Great deal for one hell of a mobo, been using the 758 since it came out.
Vreg runs a little hot and the USB header layout is a little funky, but IMO still the best X58 board out there.
