Do they ever actually make good on their promises?

I've called them 3 freakin times about an RMA and each time I called, I have been told that I'd receive an email or phone call from Mike K within 1 business day and I've been waiting for that email or call for almost 3 weeks. I've been stuck without a video card and therefore, my main computer, for a month.

It would be nice to actually hear back from them......

After you you talk to them on the phone and initiate an RMA you should get an Email immediately with RMA confirmation number.
Shortly after that (maybe a day if that) you should receive the actual RMA number and address to ship the part.

Im on my 2nd RMA with EVGA (X58 mobo) and they turned the first one in a week.

My 1 RMA and multiple stepups have all been flawless with EVGA. Maybe they have some fresh meat lately that are slacking and need to have a fire lit under their ass. Send a pm to russianhaxor, he gets shit done.

Never had any issues with EVGA, I rank them up there with Corsair as models for Customer Service.

Make a post over at Evga forums, it will get taken care of. Im surprised usually they make good on any promises.

Have done one RMA with eVGA. Got RMA number, shipped it out - got confirmation when they got it and tracking number when my replacement shipped. Whole thing took about 6 days (including shipping both ways and a weeked). Can't complain about that service - I thought it was great. Which is why eVGA (and XFX--sorry russianhaxor, they're good too) are at the top of my list to buy from.

Edit: crap didn't realise it was an old post, sorry for bumping up

I RMA'd a EVGA motherboard a few weeks ago. I had my brand new board in about 1 week after I shipped it. Are you sure you followed the steps properly? You need to go to EVGA.com and log in to your account, check our your registered products and see what the status is.

Just as a note, i just called EVGA to set up an RMA for my x58, and pretty much got through to a CS agent immediately, he gave me a number, and got me taken care of super fast.

I'm going to give you my personal experience regarding this issue. I dealt with Mike K at EVGA and he really dragged his knuckles. There were numerous problems, ranging from dead cards being shipped out to additional shipping charges and the list went on for 2 and a half months after christmas. Mike K *never* answered his phone either. Like, ever. Probably tried 20 times over the 2 month period. The ONLY way I could get through to him was to talk to a CS rep at EVGA and ask them to get ahold of him, which always worked. It was, put simply, a total nightmare.

One email to jdarwin@evga.com and I got contacted by Nicholas M. at EVGA and they sent me two GTX260's to replace the 8800gtx's. They also sent me a UPS shipping label to pay for the shipping back, which Mike K said they don't do at EVGA under any circumstances, he said I had to pay shipping myself and they'd reimburse me with a cheque later (which they did, but it was just more hassle).

The 260's have worked like a champ ever since.

The moral of the story? EVGA has some kickass customer service, most of the time. Unfortunately a few bad apples have left a sour taste at one time or another, but for the most part EVGA is a really good company with really good customer service. As a result of the way Nick took care of me I'm certainly going to remain a EVGA customer.

But do yourself a favor, try emailing jdarwin@evga.com, be very nice and courteous and explain the situation. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised!

If you have a question or need with an RMA you are welcome to email the information and I can assist you to get a resolution.

Thank you
