I keep tellin' you..........it's the juju.![]()
I already mentioned blood sacrifices for that, but I don't think its been tried yet.

Same batch numbers or different? I still think it might be having issues with certain batches (the reason why it would escapes me though).
I'm wondering if it'd be worthwhile to stick in a working one, tweaking the voltages a little over and plugging in one of the FF CPUs to see if it posts. Unless you've already tried that of course.
If its a 759, I'd assume its running S21S BIOS and if its 760/761 - S60Z? If its a 759 you can try an older revision BIOS that I have if you like?
Ordered from the same reseller I presume? That is so weird.

Kyle, I'm curious with both these cpus and others have you tried measuring the multimeter measure points/contacts on the board to see what the read for vcore, cpu vtt etc - assuming that even if they don't boot, there's power to the board of course.
Kyle, more likely then not, the CPU's that are failing are ever so slightly out of spec, not so much to trigger some chipsets but enough to trigger when using stuff like digital pwm's or other evga specific hardware used in the classified board.
I had a problem like this back in the P4 3.06ghz days where one cpu would not work in one type of board but worked fine in other similar ones same chipsets etc.
I would be more likely to believe that some of the EVGA X58 mobos are out of spec in some way. Keep in mind that that even though the CPU doesnt work in the EVGA board it works in other mobos just fine.
Just as an FYI, I had the FF error when I set my memory timings to tight while trying to overclock. I hit the CMOS reset button and it allowed me to boot again.

I just upgraded to a Classified (E759) and it won't POST. Not FF, but F3 (mostly). I haven't had time to do full troubleshooting on it yet, but I have tried a few things and am using minimal components for testing. All of these components had been working great in my X58 for three months until I powered it down to ship it in.
UPDATE: I booted up with just one stick of RAM and it POSTed fine. Entered the BIOS and saved, then rebooted with three sticks installed. Still worked, so I put the remaining three in. I've now got all my parts reinstalled and am typing this from my new Classified system.
FYI, F3, F6 and 68 codes are usually ones that tend to cycle as a result of memory
The manual or EVGA forums should say that. =Þ
i was having the same problem on my classified board as well, it would work eith a brand new out of the box cpu, but not with one that i had used within a few days. after a bit of tinkering the only conclusion that i could come to was that there was some residual info on the chip from the last time it was booted, i had similar issues like this back in the i486 days, i know, it shows my age, so for grins i took the 965 and 920 i had that gave me the ff code and hard shorted them (pin 488 -010 don't try at home) used an osciloscope and held them till the wave flat lined. and what do ya know, they booted after that, but as soon as i put them in another board, and put them back in the class they threw the ff code, another hard short and they booted. i don't know exactly why it happens but it does, it reminded me of the days when u went from a 486sx to a 486dx u had to do something similar to get the math coprocessor to be recognized. but anyway, thats my 2 cents
Ok I just ordered this board and I expect it to arrive next week. I've heard some EVGA boards have a "double boot" issue which is normal for the boards but somewhat annoying, does this affect the Classified E760 board? I would be disappointed if it did.
