EVGA and Canada ??

Anybody succed to order from them ? You can select Canada but in the end it allways give an adress verification failed with my VIsa or Mastercard... Worst they blocked all messages coming from @videotron.ca ? When you called them they don't take order by phone, new policy they told me. :mad:

Is it a joke ?

Where can I buy a 6800 GT in Canada ?

EVGA will ship to Canada, but I believe your billing address must be the same as your shipping address. Also, they only ship via UPS who charge a 40$ brokerage fee for crossing the border.

PC Cyber seems like your best bet, but I'm not sure if they have the GT in stock.
 
It's 637$ CND, so 483US... it's expensive..Hmmm EVGA adress don't work. Maybe I should cancel it. This card is suppose to be 399$ afterall.
 
tijean i know why you received this error. My friend just call evga.com yesterday and apparently some banks (desjardins, banque Nationale) here in Canada wont allow any address verification, so it cant be verify, that's why you are getting this message.
 
Thanks....Well I cancel the order at PcCyber... They collected the Ontario provincial sale tax to all orders in Canada, They're stupids, when ship outside of Ontario, provincial sale tax don't apply, only the gst. I'm sure they keep the money, what a bunch of thiefs !!
 
Dont forget that if you order from evga.com you'll be charge for duty + sales tax of your province... so the price rise quickly :(
 
Yes but the GT is already 83US less with Evga....so in the end it cost around 100$ cnd less. I know I ordered 2, 2 weeks ago. I did it by email, received them next day. I sold my card to a friend and was going to order another one for me but they now refuse to take orders by email or phone. I now have a geforce 1 :mad:
