Evga 790i Ultra problems

I have built a completely brand new system intel q9450, 4gb corsair dominator ddr3 1800mhz, evga 790i ultra, WD Velociraptor, Windows Vista x64 and have been having some problems. The motherboard posted and windows installed fine but when the computer booted up the network controller drivers weren't installed. So i installed the evga motherboard driver suite and asked to reboot the pc. When i rebooted the pc it took like 5 minutes to boot when it finally did the network controller still didn't work. Once again i tried rebooting see if it would work right this time same results. Mostly everything seems to work fine but there seems to be some sort of driver issue maybe? I've tried a bunch of differen't things including flashing the BIOS but nothing has worked so far I could use some insight on the matter.

If you have another computer, download the latest MB drivers from nVidia or EVGA. They should be NForce Vista 64 V 15.17. Uninstall the Nvidia drivers in ADD/Remove Programs. Reboot and install newest drivers. Also, the latest bios should be PO6c. The 15.17 motherboard drivers include sata, ethernet, raid, SM bios, etc
