So I just got this board off another HF member, and I breadboxed it. Had a PSU, the cpu and heatsink, and one stick of ram set up. Had the 24 pin and the 8pin connected, and I get two dashes on post.

PSU is good because it's back in my old machine working. I guess I got a mobo that is fried. But checking if it could be anything else.

I already tried resetting the cmos too.

I have had a few boards with -- error, once I removed the battery for 20 mins, tried booting with 1 stick of mem, sometimes it worked- other time went back to Fry's or RMA.

Just make sure eps is connected, im sure it is.

Yeah try removing the battery for a while and remove and reattach the psu cables. If that doesnt work you might have a toasted mobo. :(

They battery looks like a coin, it will be located at the bottom of the board, near the 2 led lights code. Also in front of the last black PCI express slot. I hope this helped. You can use your finger nails if you have some :) is easy

Let us know how it goes. If nothing else I think there is an EVGA rep around the forums who can probably help.
