I plan on overclocking the crap outta this with a q6600. I'm going to be using a Scythe Infinity cooler and can anyone recommend whether I need to replace the NB/SB setup with new coolers and whether they will fit with the Infinity or not?

Well you definately need NB cooled with Water, to overclock the crap out of your Q6600.

it will but it will definitely limit your OC room...

the 680i has a small fan for the NB which is essential for any OC imho...

Haven't worked with this board, but in general replacing the NB cooling can help while replacing the SB cooling is frequently pointless. I've read that the NB gets pretty hot.

Here's a nice (air-based) NB cooler, and there is also an "SLI" friendly version where the heat pipe is angled so that the main heatsink is a distance to the side. The board isn't on the compatibility list, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

This guy seems to have got one to fit. The video card you're using seems to matter.
