I ordered my EK EVGA 680i NB block BEFORE I received the board itself... and I noticed the SB and NB heatsink were connected via some sort of pipe. Now how the hell am I suppose to do this now? There is barely enought room for the 8800GTX, I'd be very suprised a SB block would fit there...

Is there any way to remove the NB heatsink so I can put my EK NB block on there without removing the SB heatsink? Edward doesnt make a SB block for the 680i afaik ... not even talking about the tubing nightmare here... *sigh*

Thanks !

New hardmount kit w/ a Swiftech MCW30 will fit...barely. It's what I use on my main comp.

However, my other comp has an EK NF4 1.1 block on the SB. My work comp has an Thermalright HR-05 on its SB. Any of those options will work.

Apparently the NF4 rev 1.1 acetal will do the job... any truth to that?

Reread my first post. The EK NF4 1.1 w/ either top will fit on the 680i SB's just fine and allow you to have SLI video cards. I have two of them, one on each SB. My other 680i build has a thermalright HR-05.

Oupsie sorry... I do have a HR05 sitting here, but it's ugly ... the Acetal NF4 is much sexier... im concerned about the added heat in the loop but ive got a triple mcr320 rad with 3 good fans on it... i might have to let them run higher but performance > loudness
