evga 560ti power connection question

I bought an evga 560ti, and i am currently using the adapters that they provided (molex-pci-e 6pin), and noticed that the 6 pin only have 5 pins in them. the 6 pin that came with the psu contains all 6 pins. my question is, can i use the 6 pin pci-e connector with the GPU even though the adapter only has 5 pins?

I would just advise using the PCIe leads from your PSU and get rid of that adapter
