eVGA 131 mATX SLI problems : repost from AMD motherboard section tht no one gose in!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a eVGA 131 SLI mAtx board, you know the one. Anways, im wondering why It will nto let me adjust the CPU voltage on it. If I change it to anythign but auto, it fails to post.

Anyone elese have this problem?

rest of system, Opteron 180, Antec SP500 PSU, 7800GT, 2gb Crucial value, low profile X-fi, pair of SATA drive, and a SATA rom drive.

Well I don't think anyone can actually set different cpu voltages on this board, just won't let you. Well, the thing is, I can set it to say 1.474, 1.500, it boots fine on my 4400+@2.53Ghz, 2x512 Corsair @2.5-3-3-7_1T, but the Cpu voltage never increases, CPUz, Everest, Ntune, all show about 1.4v whatever you set the bios at, ram at 230, HTT @1150, it's stable, but I can't reach 240 FSB, blue screens.

A nice increase in cpu voltage would be great but it looks like we'll never get a new Bios update..:(

But regarding your problem from what I read through, some people having problems with 2GB RAM kits, I wouldn't know for sure, I use 1 GB kit

thanks for the info...

im thinking about grabin a tforce board anyhow and hope for the best..
