i been out of the computer building for several years but i figure now it time to build a new one. can anyone give me some suggestion. i will mostly used it for working, few grafix, semi gaming.i would like to stay around $700..if that is possible
-intel processor??
-Asus motherboard??
-vid -> ati radeon 9600xt
-hardrive ..got a maxtor 120g at home
-memory ??
-case?
Any sugesstion and help is greatly appreciated..
 
Abit NF7-S, XP 2X00 moble (change the X to whatever the people here recommend, 1 X 512 (or maybe 2x) of some cas 2.0 pc 3200, that video card looks good, some cheapo case (whatever looks good to you), antec true 3xx, or 4xx (replace X's with how much power you need, oh yeah some good cooling also.
 
you could probably put together an amd 64 rig for that kind of money. it would give you the most bang for your buck and having a 64bit would keep your system useful for a couple years. look at newegg.com for some prices.
