• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Every thread I start disappears

yeah we know and this ones going to disapear too..

go into your adblocker(if you have it) select show blockable content on page and create a custom filter for the beamerbenz url that shows up.

As well, all of the other public threads about this that would be warning users are disappearing.

Kind of disappointing to see [H] take this approach instead of being upfront with it's users and providing warnings.

I believe at one point Kyle had let those who had questions know - more than once - that there were issues, and that they were known.

What approach, moving posts that reference bad coding so that browsers keep seeing your posts with hacker code in them & triggering a malware or virus warning, thats real smart on your part.

If your browser is no longer flagging the site, it means the code was removed.

More along the lines of, if it was removed or moved. There should have been some kind of forum announcement letting us know what is going on / being done. Most peoples systems who have solid AV caught this stuff, but some did not.

There should have been some disclosure posted.

Awesome, statements like this are what I was after. It would be awesome if there was like a twitter or something we could go look at when there are issues like this so we can know whats up without having to come here.

You do realize that if they had a Twitter or something to announce issues that it would just take away time that could be used to fix the forums? Not only that, potential new visitors may be turned off.

I think more users are turned off by entering a forum and being caught totally unaware by an exploit. Twitter might be exactly what is needed, not like it hurts to take 1 minute out of your life to make technically aware people aware of issues that might cause problems if they access the site at work for research or otherwise.

Hmm...Yes, yes. This is true. If they made a Twitter I'd view it.
