I have a BFG 6800GT OC (dual fan version) and the driver claims the card is idling at 65 Degrees with an ambient temp of 42 Degrees.

Everest is reporting a idle GPU Temp of 55 Degrees and an ambient temp of 42 Degrees.

They are both reporting the same ambient temp, but which one is right about the GPU temp?

i wouldnt worry about it.. niether of those temps are going to make your video card splode or anything

I'd take whatevers higher personally.. as long as they are only a few degrees apart.

speefan+everest reports the same temps b/c they use the same sensors..... I would go with the one in the control panel which is 10c higher exactly...since that's what most people go by anyways...
