I need to change my water in a few months and I was wondering if anyone ever used a submersible pump to help suck all the water out of the system? It would seem to be a better way than rocking the case back and forth for ten minutes.
I have a drain tube and a T-Valve at the lowest point in my loop. I was thinking of using one of those submersible fish pumps, attach it to my drain tube, open the valve and open the cap on the res. I would also pour new distilled water in the res as it drains to help clean everything out.
Would this work?
