ETX Core 2 Duo board

Also useless without a base board that has the connectors and some of the power circuitry. Not for the weak. Oh yeah, and pretty expensive. Link Expect to spend around $400 just for the module and baseboard, and that's for something like an "off the shelf" ATX or mini-ITX base board. Then there's the custom heatsink, CPU, memory...
 
That would be insane if you put that in a apple mini case with a Duo2, that would kick most larger systems ass specially OCed. Show off, my little box is a monster and can woop your desktop in cpu benchmarks.

They need a Socket T ver of this.
 
Picture is correct, it's a 479 pin socket for Yonah and Merom cores. Socket T/LGA775 has too large a footprint to be used in a 4"x4.5" setup.

Smallest boards I've seen with any type of PCI-E are Mini-ITX, although there are provisions for 1x and 4x PCI-E in the specs for ECX form factor(3.5" Emebedded, roughly the size of a HD). Not sure if anyone is actually implementing it, though.
 
You can get other compatible ETX baseboards, though. Here is the smallest "standard" baseboard I know.

There's also a form called ETXexpress which includes provisions for x16 PCI-e, but it's a larger module and so far only for Pentium-M. It would also require a total custom baseboard, no one makes anything but ATX versions right now.
