Hey guys, my fiance has created this survey for an ethics class she is taking and needs to get about 100 people to fill it out. Be pals and take a few minutes to go over it, I'd appreciate it.

THX!

*Don't know where else to post this; put it here because it pertains to the web*

To make it somewhat on topic, I used PHP to store the results in a database and display them. Yes, this is my first real thing done in PHP. :(

Done. Some of the questions were mildly problematic in their wording...

You might want to tell her that two of the questions should be changed...

There are two that ask "have you ever downloaded software\music from the internet". Given the follow up question of "Did you feel guilty" this seems to imply that the two questions should be rephrased to say "have you ever illegally downloaded software\music..."

As it's worded, anyone that's downloaded a patch to an OS or game would mark yes to software downloads. Again, as worded, anyone that's downloaded WMP or music sample (or seen a flash that had music) would have to mark yes to the second music related question.

Should someone feel guilty about downloading a the latest BF1942 patch or OS security update? I'd hope not...

She meant to say "illegally", but was just in a bit of a rush when she designed the survey. Thanks for the suggestions.

Then she should define "illegally".

The only mp3's I've ever downloaded were ones made freely available by the copyright holders at places like mp3.com.

The only software I've downloaded was freeware/shareware/trial versions in which I violated no copyright laws.

No guilt on my end. :)

But your gf's survey doesn't address this.

Same thing with the cheating question. I use cheats on my xbox, but not on tests, multiplayer games, etc.

I commented in the survey on the fact that the music and software downloads might not be illegal.

Its sad i only had to change a couple of those boxes to 'no'. And one of those was "Did you feel guilty"
