My connection is currently wireless, I chose that in Ethereal, but I am not capturing any packets. Currently 2:15, am I missing something?

The name Ethereal does not exist anymore due to legal issues with the name (court case from this past summer). It is now Wireshack. There are actually better tools for wireless stuff than Wireshack, but I do not know your intentions, so I cannot say at this time.
