So, I got a fancy DL380P Gen8 that I've loaded ESXi 5.5u2 on.

I've put my p420i into HBA mode and passed it through to a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM.

When I try to boot that VM I get a PSOD.

(grrr, image doesn't show up - http://i.imgur.com/zI6egAU.png )

Now, if I boot it before any of the other VMs, it's fine! If I reboot it, PSOD. I'm not really following the output. What's the bit in the trace about the USB storage adapters? Anyone have any idea?

I'm running the HP version - the only change I made to it was to apply the Fusion IO VIB.

Yeah, the image won't show up on the forum, but it shows up directly on imgur. Weird.

Anyway, I started the VM before the others in the autostart group and this seems to have at least gotten me in a running state. Very strange behavior.
