ESXi install failure on Gateway AMD64

Hello,

I am trying to get ESXi to install on a AMD 64x2 GM5472

I started with the 64 bit iso rebooted and get through the black and yellow screen. After I hit F11, it fails and give the following error.

vmkctl.hostctlexception: unable to load moduele/usr/lib/vmware/vmkmod/vvmfs3:failure

Is there a different version I should be using? I didn't see a iso for gateways just dell's and Hp's
 
Probably because the NIC is not supported. You may need to get an Intel PCIe nic and use that.

Or maybe the SATA controller is not supported.
 
This error message is typically thrown by ESXi 4.1 when no compatible network adapter can be found. Why don't you try ESXi 5.0? Network support has become better and even if your NIC is not supported out-of-the-box you might be lucky and find a community supported driver at http://www.vm-help.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=24
