ESXi DirectPath Issue

Hello!

I'm in the middle of setting up a new ESXi server. I have some devices that I want to be passed to a couple of VM's:

2 Dual port Qlogic 4GB FC HBA
1 LSI 9207 HBA
1 Quad gigabit intel adapter

I have added them all as pass through devices and rebooted the server. The Qlogic and LSI cards all show up as configured but the Intel card keeps saying that it needs a host reboot to be configured as pass through. I have tried rebooting the server several times without success.

Any help on getting the Intel card to work is much appreciated!
 
What is your MB model/type? Try switching the cards around in the slots to see if the results are different.
 
It's a motheboard made by wistron for facebook.

I might have a clue now what it could be though. The two Intel chips on the card are both located behind a PCI switch, and from my understanding pass through won't work with PCI switches/bridges?

I don't know 100% but that appears to be the issue. In post 4 in the link below if states that pass-through will not work if using a PCIe switch.

Check if its under southbridge if so, move it to another pcie slot. Also try to disable acs from config > advanced seting> software >kernel >boot disable acs check.
