ESXi 5 Intel 82579LM passthrough

Summary: The Intel 82579LM NIC works flawlessly when directly used (without virtualization) but fails when passed through by ESXi 5 to a VM.

I already know about that. I do not want to fiddle with my ESXi 5 installation (if possible) and would like to get the passed through NIC to work.

As a last resort, i will patch my ESXi 5.
