So far so good. Diddn't really try to see how far my memory (Patriot PC-3200 w/ XBL) would go on 2-2-2-5. Did a quick 205MHz bump, which ran fine.... My question is, once I find the ceiling on my CPU, I want to find the tightest timings for my memory that I can at whatever speed I end up at. So far, going form 2409Mhz to 2420MHz took a bump from 1.6v to 1.65v, so I don't see much room left. Now, the memory is rated for...

Speed Memory Timings Voltage Settings
PC3200 (400MHz) 2-2-2-5-1T 2.6-2.7v
PC3500 (436MHz) 2-3-3-6-1T 2.6-2.7v
PC3700 (466MHz) 2-3-3-6-1T 2.7-2.8v
PC4000 (500MHz) 2.5-3-3-7-1T 2.75-2.85v
PC4200 (533MHz) 3-4-4-8-1T 2.85-2.95v

I'm running 2-3-3-6-1T @ 2.7v for a good "midrange" setting....and I doubt I'll hit 233MHz before I find the ceiling. I'd rather just use all the multipliers I have and keep a low latency on the memory compared to having say 3-4-4-8 and using like 7 multipliers and going for a HUGE FSB. Any advice on how to find your memorys best timings at a given speed? On one review, they got 221MHz @ 2-2-2-5 w/ 2.8v....which I found strange since I thought TCCD diddn't really like extra voltage, but I now see this chart which shows voltage needing to get bumped with more speed. Either way, thanks for any hands-on advice with TCCD overclocks :)
 
First thing i usually do is raise the ram voltage to the maximum im comfortable with

If your going for Timings over FSB

1)Raise FSB Until Maximum CPU speed is found (memory divider helps here)
2)Lower timings individually until you get instability
3)Raise timings until stable

if your going for FSB over Timings (id try this for comparison speed)

1)Lower CPU Multiplier to 7 or 8
2)Raise FSB Until Unstable
3)Lower FSB back to stable
3)Raise Multiplier until Unstable
4)Lower multiplier when unstable


Both of these take some time, id set aside a good day or so to find the max oc of an A64.
 
i have been reading that TCCD sometime will not achive its max at a high voltage... so running it 3v from the start might not be best..
