eSata Thumbdrive for Page File/TEMP?

Most people would put their whole OS on a device like that. So yeah, it's somewhat common. I'm sure more people would do it if SSDs and eSATA drives were cheaper.

The reasons are probably similar to why, until recently, USB flash drives were seldom used as page files: mainly, they weren't so cheap and ubiquitous back then.

Keep in mind that the eSATA flash drives haven't officially arrived yet.
 
I guess I was wrong... they are available.

(But many people, including myself, use a separate partition in the HDD for a swap file... and that works just fine for the majority of users.)
