eSATA controller recommendations

With eSATA being relatively 'rare' on motherboards, I'm looking for a 3rd party solution.

That being said, all eSATA controllers I find seem to have issues with speed/drivers/firmware/etc.

Any experience with these components or recommendations is greatly appreciated.

My Vantec enclosures came with PCI slot brackets that routed my onboard intel ICH8R sata interfaces to esata ports. Works great.

You can find some of those on google products or on newegg by searching for PCI esata bracket or something simliar.
