I can joke about this now, because I've finally solved every last problem we had result from our move last weekend ... but I think software and hardware makers should make error messages more fun!
CATASTROPHIC FAILURE OF DISKS 1, 2, 5, 6 AND 7 UNABLE TO REBUILD RAID ARRAY HOPE YOU HAVE PAINKILLERS HANDY
Or how about a series of dialog boxes with a single "NEXT ->" button on them:

UH OH, IT'S A BAD ONE
YOU'RE REALLY NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS ONE
ARE YOU SITTING DOWN? HERE IS THE ERROR:
Of course, if I had actually seen anything "creative" like that this week instead of the boring, dry messages I actually saw, I probably wouldn't have been amused ...
