Error Code problem

hi ppl,

i just recently purchased a new computer with the following specs:
-pentium dual core E8500
-nvidia 9800gt
-2gig ddr2 ram
- 250gig seagate hhd
- gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L motherboard

running windows xp sp2

im getting random blue screens with the following error codes. when i check event log the system error im getting is:

Error code 00000024, parameter1 001902fe, parameter2 bad07550, parameter3 bad0724c, parameter4 bab30307.


when my computer reboots from the crash, the windows serious error msg pops up and says:

BCCode: 24 BCP1 : 001902FE BCP2: BAD07550 BCP3: BAD0724C BCP4: BAB30307 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 2_0 Product: 256_1


anyone recognise the above?

error 24 is the ntfs file system
Run chkdsk /r to detect and resolve any file system structural damage
