ERDA+ underclocking itself

my brother has a epox 8rda+ board with an amd 2400+ (2.0 ghz). Its underclocking itself by default, working only at 1800+ and at ddr200 not 400. Anyone else having these problems with these boards? Am i doing something wrong? Its running the default bios, and the revisions on epox's site doesn't say anything about this.

If i try to set the FSB at 200Mhz and the multiplier at 10, it doesn't post. Out of extreme luck it posted once and booted windows at this speed. But we needed to restart because of sound issues.

I've tried different set of combos and it just won't post at anything other than those default speeds. WHat should i set the cpu voltage at? I've just left it at default. Thanks in advance.
