Looking mostly for a case that's roughly as big, but has better built-in cable and component management.

CPU Cooler is the Xigmatek 1283, which is cutting it kinda close to fitting inside of the 900 I have now.

iirc the HAF is closer to the size of the antec 1200.

I would recommend the cm 690 or cooler master Scout

Hmm, I may have my sizing wrong but from memory the 900 was a decent-sized mid-tower. Some others have already provided CoolerMaster options, but what about Corsair? Graphite 600T on a budget closer to what one would wish to spend on an Antec but you still get a lot of great features, or Obsidian 650D for the high end offering? There's also lots of LianLi and a handful of Silverstone that will fit that size requirement.

I know for a fact the cpu cutouts on the HAF 912 and Scout are off from center or just too small. I have a HAF 912 sitting here, that's getting ready to go back to Fry's. I took a look at the 600T while I was there and the cutout is HUGE. Obviously if you have to repaste your cpu/heatsink motherboard removal is not necessary. 24 pin and SATA grommets are spaced far enough from the board so you don't need to do some excessive bending to route the cables through.

Another case to look at is the Xigmatek Utgard which runs for $60 plus $13 shipping (iirc; from Newegg) Although unlike Coolermaster cases especially the 912 and Scout the Utgard and 600t come with a top Exhaust fan. Since the Utgard is an older case there are unfortunately no frontpanel USB 3.0 headers

Get the 600t if you don't mind paying $150 for a midtower. Which In my personal opinion is kind of steep, but then again you get what you pay for
