EPS12v with an ATX?

I was wondering, I have an EPS12v power supply and I have a motherboard that supports ATX, would it be safe to use this power supply? Would the only think I need to buy is a 8 pin to 4 pin 12v converter?

CPU: AMD Athlon 3500+
Motherboard:ASUS A8N-VM CSM Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD
Power Supply: ASPIRE ATX-PFC680W-BK ATX12V/ EPS12V 680W

You can use an EPS supply on an ATX board safely by the method you suggest....however i would throw that Aspire as far away from my system as I could.
