epox 8rda3+ question

ok ive been looking at just a good stable mobo, and i dont need to oc so i thought the 8rda3 fit that perfectly. but when looking at the pictures on newegg, and the ones at hardocp i find that there a lot of differences.

those are the same motherboards, but you can tell the one on newegg has a serial port, and a fan on the nb, while the hardocp doesnt have either. i dont mind having the extra stuff, i am just wondering whether or not the fan will interfere with my cpu hs and fan. any ideas?

I've been running this board for about 3 months now on one of my systems and it has been rock solid. Mine does have have the northbridge fan, but there are no clearance problems with my SLK800 and 80cm Tornado. There is about 1/2-3/4in clearance between the heatsink and fan.

yea i think ill do it. it looks rock solid and good performance which is all i want. i think ill order it tonight with a 2500+ barton. the only part that really sticks out on my hsf would be facing up towards the top of th ecase and i tihnk there will be clearance. thanks for your input.
