Now, before i get into things, i am posting this here because my friends are all saying "its hot because you are overclocking blah blah" and such things. But now that i think about it, this might fare better in the motherboard section. But its too late now since im just editing the topic at this point, not creating it.
so my case came with a heat display thing on the front, and since i forgot to install it on my CPU, i decided to stick it on the shitty joke of a heatsink that came on the southbridge chip (the little golden piece of junk) and ... well ... does anyone else have a heat sensor on their southbridge? cuz mine reads it at 105F+ ALL THE TIME....it never goes below 105F and its gotten up to 120F on hot nights when gaming (all according to the case's thermal diode i stuck in there)
i've assumed it is the southbridge for a long time now, but i do realize now that i never really checked. it IS the southbridge, right?
