epox 754 sli question

I was wondering with the new epox 754 sli board is there a way in bios to run 1 x16 video slot in a non sli mode and have x16 lanes instead of running it at x8 on both slots and not using the second slot for a while.
i want this board if i can run 1 card at x16 rather than x8 and have the other 8 lanes just sitting there in an empty video slot.seems like there would be a bios selection for sli or single card.any one know for sure?
 
That particular board is simply hardwired to permanently be an 8x/8x configuration. Ultimately, it's not really going to matter anyway. There's no tangible performance difference between running a single card in 16x or 8x.
