hey I just noticed the epox 754 sli board is now on sale at newegg and chiefvalue. If anybody runs this please post your opinions as im thinking of giving this a try.I have several 754 cpu hanging around.the board looks nice.

Just put my stuff up for sale so I can try this board. Seems like a no-brainer move to pci-e and sli for skt 754 owners. Plus, Epox owners seem to love their boards so ima givem a try.

im am going to be getting one in the next month, the only downside i have heard is that instead of having a "switching module" to select between pci-e x16 and x8, both ports run at x8 all the time(this isnt really a big deal as current cards dont take up the full bandwidth of x16 anyway)

i would aslo like to know if anyone has used one yet, and if so how well do the oc

I'm ordering from the egg on friday. I will have it up and running soon after but with an old pci card for graphics. As I mentioned earlier gotta sell some stuff.

I kinda like the fact that no selector is needed and don't think that the 8x lanes will ever be a factor and I have seen the A8N-32SLI benchies. I will be running 1280 res for at least a couple more years. I just want to make sure I can run that with everything turned on during that time period no matter what comes out.

If I decide to stick with 754, I'll probobly get this board in a month or two.

I finally put this board together with an evga 7800 GT OC and I had problems with my dual monitor setup and glitches... I tried all the things you can do to troubleshoot the problem and contacted evga and rmaed the card. I went ahead an ordered a 2nd evga 7800 gt which will be here on monda so I have something to use until I get my card back and i'll SLi that bad boy.

Coming from MSI... this board rocks my socks. I love it to death and seeing how they are releasing new s754 cores up to 4000+ neward and those venice cores... the s754 is definetly not coming to an end anytime soon.

I'll post my benchmark scores for 3dMark05 when I SLi the cards... so far I go 7238 with my current setup. Is that decent? Nothing was overclocked, and my zalman 9500 keeps my newcastle at 38 degrees. w00t!!
