EO, DO or CO Stepping????

I've got the chance to buy a Celeron D 2.93 with a EO stepping is this better for heat and overclocking than the DO & CO?

My Celeron D 320 (2.4) is a D0 and it runs at 3.6 just fine. Maybe 3.8 someday. There is a G0 stepping but its only available on the Celeron 310 I think. I'd imagine that the higher steppings would tend to overclock better. But I wouldn't pay too much for a fast Celeron when a lower end celeron like a 320 or so could be overclocked so easy.

And Perform better no doubt (800FSB vs 533FSB)
I've been thinking of picking up one of those cheap 310's to see how it'd do.
 
The higher the letter the better overclocking usually is.

Its not 100%, but your odds are much better with later steppings.

And the chips tend to run cooler, etc.

A_ = first working samples - usually don't make it to retail, mostly OEM & samples
B_ = first retail chips - usually still have to be cherry picked to hit top speed bins
C_, D_ better, good overclockers bulk of processors are usually made here
E_, F_, G_ = usually near end of process, great overclockers, almost all chips make it to the top speed bins, last revisions to add functionality or tweak the process for new top speed bin.

Sometimes the numbers are slightly different, D1 or D0, etc..

But thats kinda a general rule for Intel processors.
