Hey all,

I am going out to do "battle on Friday" and I was looking at buying the 99.00 Envision 19" widescreen from Best Buy.

I just need to know a few things first before I go out and spend the $$$$.

1st: the resolution of this monitor is 1440 X 900...MAX If I own an 8600GTS and like to play games like WiC, Crysis, Gears of War, Bioshock and many others in this genre, would the resolution be a problem? I think that my card would really be at its max trying to even push these games to this level...so I think the monitor would be more than what my card could handle

2nd: Because this is a widescreen monitor...I would assume that the image would be SQUISHED. Is this true? Do widescreen monitors suck for gaming in general and should I stay away from a widescreen?

I am currently running and OLD Princeton 17" CRT just so you guys can get a reference of what I am currently using.
