Enough power? 650w Thermaltake RGB 80+ Bronze

I'm running a decent tough system with a Ryzen 5 1600x on a Gigabyte x370 gaming and an RX 480. (See profile for full specs) I had problems overclocking and random shut offs I believe was an overheat problem. My second guess is the PSU delivery. Is it possible the PSU can handle the system on an OC?

That PSU should be more than enough even with an overclock. Your components aren't exactly power hungry beasts.

Thanks, that's a relief. I'll just get a better cooling solution!

The first question would be: is your system stable at stock? Before you try overclocking. (noting PSU should be fine, but regardless...)

Run some benchmarks that stress the CPU/GPU at the same time, all at stock settings. If you're still having issues it could be a number of things. If it's only when you OC then it limits the potential reasons for shutting down.
