Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
is there anyway to get rid of this thing? i read in SPCR that you could snip it and replace it with a 10ohm pot. it also said it might not be safe to do that. is there a safe way to get rid of this?
oooh. i just read that you can control the fans with the rear fan control, and that it only changes speed automacially if temps are too high, and your fan setting is too low.
if that's the case, then i can just buy 2 silent fans (1x80,1x92) to replace the current ones, and always have em full blast so they can never get louder.
I have my enermax ps plugged into the mb with fan monitoring. It runs around 1700-1800 rpm all the time, even under load. In all honesty, its pretty quiet as long as the case is properly ventilated.
