In the sticky, the mid-range suggestions include both the noistaker470 and the non noise taker460.

the 460 seems to have better @'s than the 470noistaker.
the noisetaker states its compatable with A64's which is what i have.(3500+)

now, to me the 460's seem more reliable, but is it compatable with A64's
Which one would be more stable if they were both to be working with A64's.

A64 3500+
MSI Neo2
1x 512 Ballistix pc3200 (soon to be 2x)

IDE 40 gig HD

i just ordered all my computer components which should be arriving on monday, and along with them was an enermax 470-watt power supply. its really heavy, its got a fan controller right on it, dual 80mm fans, and it came with a free 3.5 dual channel fan controller with temp display lcd screen. ill let u know how it is when it gets here.

The noisetaker470 has split +12v rails which is a boon for stability
For that setup, either will do fine, but IMO the noisetaker line is better. Also, if you are buying one, get the v2.0 that doesn't have the obnoxious thick sleeving on the ATX connector, and has a 24-pin ATX connector, which is much more future proof

well..in the future,if its that far ahead, you would probably end up buying another PSU to match the cpu's and mobos out there too . i doubt i would use the same psu.

so i guess its the noisetaker .
